How do I sign up for picture day?
Signing up is easy! Visit our Parents Info page and search for your child's school to find upcoming picture day events. You can register your child online, provide their information, and sign the required consents — all in just a few minutes. You can also receive an email notification as soon as your school books a session so you're always the first to know!
📱 You can also scan the QR code posted at your school or on the flyer sent home — this takes you directly to the registration page for your school's picture day event.
How do I prepare my child for picture day?
A little preparation goes a long way for beautiful portraits! Here are our top tips:
🌙 The night before: Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep. A rested child is a happy, smiley child!
📣 Tell them about it: Let your child know picture day is coming so they're excited, not surprised. Talk about how fun it's going to be!
👗 Prepare their outfit: Have their outfit ready the night before. See our What to Wear section for clothing tips and our seasonal color palette guide.
🧸 Lovies & favorite toys: Yes! Children are absolutely welcome to bring their favorite stuffed animal, toy, or special item to their session. It helps them feel comfortable and can make for incredibly special portraits. Please let us know in advance so we can ask if they arrive without it!

What should my child wear?
We recommend solid colors, soft neutral tones, and simple textures — these photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your child's face and personality.

Can family members be photographed during my child's session?
Yes! Parents, grandparents, and family members are absolutely welcome to be photographed during your child's session — with the prior approval of the school. Please let us know in advance when registering so we can plan accordingly. It makes for the most beautiful and meaningful portraits!

What is the social media release and do I need to sign it?
The social media release is completely optional. It allows Timeless Portrait LLC to share your child's photos on our Instagram, Facebook, and company website to showcase our work.
If you sign the release and purchase or heart a photo in your gallery, that photo will receive a blue highlight — letting us know it's cleared to share. You can also share a low-resolution watermarked version on your own social media, tagged to our studio page.
If you prefer not to sign the release, your child's photos will remain completely private in your personal gallery. Your choice is always respected!

Viewing Your Gallery
How do I access my child's online gallery?
Approximately 3 business days after picture day you will receive an email with your private gallery link and your personal Gallery ID. Your Gallery ID is unique to your child and is linked to your registration email.
To access your gallery at any time:

📧 Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the gallery email within 3 business days of picture day. Your Gallery ID is tied to the email address you used when registering your child.
Can I view my gallery on my phone?
Absolutely! Our galleries are fully mobile-friendly and work beautifully on any smartphone or tablet. Simply open your gallery link in your phone's browser or scan the QR code. You can browse, heart your favorites, and place your order all from your phone!
Ordering Your Portraits
How do I order my images?
Once your gallery is live, simply open your private gallery link, browse your child's portraits, and select the photos you love. You can order à la carte (one unit at a time) or choose from one of our packages for better value. Add your items to cart, choose your delivery option, and checkout securely online.

I purchased digital images but can't find my download link — what do I do?
No worries — this happens! Here's what to do:
📧 Check your email first: Your download link was automatically sent to the email address you used when registering. Check your spam or junk folder too — it sometimes lands there.
🔑 Log back into your gallery: Visit our home page, enter your Gallery ID, and your purchased digital downloads will be available directly in your gallery.
🔄 Request a new download link: Use the "Re-send My Download Link" box on our home page. Enter your order number and email address and we'll send a fresh link instantly.

After 30 days the link expires but your purchase is always on file — simply use the "Re-send My Download Link" option on our home page to get a fresh link at any time. Enter your order number and email address and a new link will be sent to you instantly.

Yes! Digital images are available for immediate download after purchase. You can purchase individual digitals or bundles of 3, 5, 8, or all images in your gallery. Digitals can also be added to any print package. See our Investment Pricing tab for full digital pricing.
